The Legal Questions of Trademark and Copyright

Certifying agencies have valuable intellectual property to protect—certification marks, publications, item banks, and examinations to name a few. Most credentialing organizations actively protect these marks through trademarks and copyrights. But, as new agencies emerge to certify professions in specialized fields the need for information and resources on trademarking and copyrighting property is necessary. Here is a link to an article from LegalZoom on this subject. Are there other online resources you use to keep updated on these subjects? Please share them with your credentialing colleagues by submitting them to the “comments” section.
