Social Networking

According to Wikipedia: “A social network service focuses on building online communities of people who share interests and/or activities, or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. Most social network services are web based and provide a variety of ways for users to interact, such as e-mail and instant messaging services.”

Increasingly certification organizations are becoming involved in social networking. Some organizations have set up social networking sites as another avenue of communication with their certificants. In other cases, the certificants themselves have established these networking sites. Here are just a few of the many examples we found on Facebook and LinkedIn that show some of the ways certification programs are joining the increasing trend towards social networking.
